I can say that guilt is one of the most popular topics regarding motherhood. Stay-at-home moms often feel guilty over the fact that they’re not working and fulfilling their dreams. They then feel guilty because it seems selfish of them to think about their dreams when they have a baby.

Working moms are feeling guilty over the fact that they can’t be with their kids a lot of the time.

Some guilt is good and is healthy. It can help us learn from our mistakes and change.

But us women tend to feel guilty more than we should and it’s often about issues that are not even our fault or have to do with unrealistic expectations.

We feel depleted and we think we shouldn’t. We think that no matter what life throws at us we should be able to handle it without getting upset.

Here are 5 ways to eliminate guilt

Be aware of your self-talk
